Located at 837 Main Street, Martinez, at the corner of Main and Las Juntas, our tasting room is named for local pioneer, William Welch, and his 1844 Rancho Las Juntas land grant. Enjoy a 5 Flight Tasting for $12 as you sit at the bar and learn about the wine from owner, Steve, son Tommy, or our fabulous wine server, Aaron. Then take in the fascinating story about William Welch and how Rancho Las Juntas came to be through the local history displayed on the WWW walls. 8. Building 43 Winery

Building 43 Winery, located on the former Alameda Naval Air Station, is a Latina and Veteran-Owned winery specializing in small-batch varietals from the Sierra Foothills. Blacksmith Cellars, available for tasting at the Suisun Valley Wine Co-Op just 25.4 miles from Pleasant Hill, is celebrated for its artful approach to winemaking. From classic varietals like Syrah and Chardonnay to lesser-known gems such as Torrontes and Verdelho, the winery offers a diverse palette, including two outstanding proprietary blends: "Adamantine" and "Hephaestus."
