This Vernon Macan-designed private 18-hole course opened in 1925. This beautifully manicured course was recently remodeled to provide a more modern experience while holding true to its classic original lines. There are seven sets of tees to accommodate different skill levels.

#2 Buchanan Fields Golf Club

General Description

This well-maintained 9-hole course, designed by Robert Muir Graves, opened in 1955, making it one of the oldest public golf clubs in the East Bay. It is conveniently situated near the airport. The course offers 3 sets of tees for different skill levels.

General Description

This Robert Muir Graves public course is conveniently located off the I-680, a five-minute drive from downtown Walnut Creek. It been called the top 9-hole public golf course in northern California because of its length and challenging holes, and it is the only 9-hole course in the area boasting a par 5 hole. Players of all skill levels will find something to like about this course.
