Spring Events in Pleasant Hill

Diablo Valley Car Show

April or May

Diablo Valley College 201 Viking Dr, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523

Car enthusiasts rejoice! Head over to the Diablo Valley Car Show to see the latest and greatest in the motor vehicle industry. While you’re there, enjoy the live music and plentiful food options. Tickets are free for spectators and there is a $25 entry fee for participants. Proceeds from the DVC car show benefit the high school programs available at Diablo Valley College.

TreasureFest

Spring - Fall

The Marin Center, San Rafael

Shop all things local at TreasureFest, Northern California’s largest market gathering. A flea market and music festival combine to great this fun filled experience. Fun and games are in store for all who attend.

Summer Events in Pleasant Hill

Summer Concerts By the Lake

May - September 6pm - 8pm

Pleasant Hill City Hall | Gregory Lane & Cleaveland Road

As the sun starts to set, grab your lawn chairs and head over to City Hall to enjoy an evening concert by the lake. Vendors are on site for food sales. Check back in late Spring for the concert lineup.

Fourth of July Festivities

July 4th

Pleasant Hill Park & College Park High School

Presented by the Pleasant Hill Fourth of July Commission, the 4th of July festivities last the entire day. Start your day with a parade in Pleasant Hill Park and end it with a fireworks presentation at College Park High School.

Blue & Brews Festival

July

Pleasant Hill Park | 147 Gregory Lane, PH

Come for the free Blues concert on Saturday, stay for the craft beer tastings! Tickets must be purchased to enter the tasting event and it is only available to patrons 21 years or older. Don’t miss the kick off event on Friday night with a free Kidzone for the little ones.

Art, Wine and Music Festival

October

40 Crescent Dr | Downtown Pleasant Hill

Come experience a day of culture. Vendors are available with a wide selection of wine and food. Stroll through the festival and take in the art, jewelry and live music. Feel free to bring the whole family as there’s a KidZone available for the little ones!

Tinkers & Thinkers Innovation Faire

Pleasant Hill Park | 147 Gregory Lane, PH

This annual event celebrates all things STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Participants are invited to learn about new inventions from local makers and work on scientific and engineering projects together. The make-and-take activities are very popular.

Trunk or Treat

October

Pleasant Hill Park Parking Lot | 147 Gregory Lane

Bring the kids and your best costumes for Trunk or Treat! Members of the Pleasant Hill community will have decorated their trunks for trick-or-treaters to stop by for candy. The event also features food vendors, arts and crafts and other spooky activities.

Light up the Night in Downtown Pleasant Hill

Pleasant Hill City Hall | Gregory Lane & Cleaveland Road

Kick off the holiday season with the local Pleasant Hill community. The festivities include, holiday arts and crafts, free hot chocolate and cookies, live caroling performances. The main event is the lighting of a 25-foot Christmas tree in the park.

Holiday Festival

PH Community Center

Continue in the festive spirit with the Holiday Festival. Strolling characters will be available to take photos with children. Meet the famous Talking Christmas Tree and enjoy the scenic sets.

The East Bay International Jewish Film Festival is a program of the Independent Jewish World Cinema. The organization brings a selection of international and independent films to the Pleasant Hill community. Many of the films have won awards or have been nominated for critical acclaim.
