As you stroll through Downtown Pleasant Hill this Memorial Day, stop and pay your respects at the Soldiers Memorial Monument. Erected in 1927 to honor those who served in World War I, the Soldiers Memorial Monument has since been rededicated to encompass the valiant citizens who fought in World War II.

Sunset by the Lake Summer Concert Series

Kick off summer with a bang at the highly anticipated return of the Sunset by the Lake Summer Concert series during Memorial Day Weekend! The Great Space Coaster takes the stage to perform their electrifying renditions of hits from the '70s, '80s, and '90s, at this FREE outdoor concert.

All weekend long there will be plenty of free kids activities including balloon animals, spin art and kiddie golf, thrilling rides, fun sports activities, and great food. Enjoy On Memorial Day, attend the special ceremony at noon featuring the Concord Blue Devils C Drum and Bugle Corps and Mt. Diablo High School Jr. ROTC color guard, and stirring musical performances that pay homage to the brave men and women who have sacrificed for our nation.
