Our Haunted Trail promises a frightfully fun trick-or-treating experience that you and your family will cherish. Get ready for candy and goodie bags galore – it's all part of the adventure! And don't forget to dress up in your most impressive costumes; it's highly encouraged, but don't worry, it's not too scary!

When Is It?

Mark your calendars for Friday, October 24th, 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

Where?

The Haunted Trail starts at the Pleasant Hill Park Parking Lot, located at 147 Gregory Lane. Walk along the trail that is located behind the Teen Center and around the sports facilities.

Cost?

Free Family Fun — Join us for an evening of Halloween excitement that won't break the bank. This event is entirely free and open to all ages. So, bring your little ghouls and goblins for a memorable night of fun.

Know Before You Go: It's recommended to arrive before 7:30 PM in order to spend time at each Halloween display.

Get ready to strut your spooky stuff! We're introducing two exciting contests: Most Creative Costume and Best Family/Group Costume. Swing by the DJ booth to sign up during the event. Winners score sweet prizes—and serious bragging rights!

👻 Create a wicked-cool, kid-friendly Halloween display at PHRec Haunted Trail 2025 (FREE!) on Friday, October 24th, 5:30-7:30 pm in Pleasant Hill Park. FREE to participate!✨ Register here. Displays can be free-standing, a decorated pop up and/or car trunk (limited car spaces) in a ~10 ft. x 10 ft. space. Costumes and creative themes are strongly encouraged. Need decorating theme ideas? We've got some! Not too scary, please.

We welcome event sponsorships and craft/vendor sales (fees apply). Your contributions help make this event spooktacular! Additionally, if you'd like to contribute to the candy stash for our young trick-or-treaters, please drop off sealed bags of candy at the District office at 147 Gregory Lane in Pleasant Hill (Monday through Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM).
