Cascada de Flores presents Treasure of Aquíles

November 4, 6:30pm

Join us for a performance by Cascada de Flores, a duo dedicated to the exploration, preservation, and dissemination of Mexican and Caribbean traditional music and dance. Cascada de Flores will be performing Treasure of Aquíles.

Aquíles, a boy whose pueblo is barren of dance, music, and song, sets out on an adventure with his morral (a bag filled with his favorite things). Along the way, he learns to sing from a bee, rhythm from a horse, and to dance from a flea. All ages and abilities are welcome. For special accommodations, please contact the Library with 72 hours notice. This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Pleasant Hill Library.
