Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a Mexican tradition celebrated on November 1st and 2nd to honor and remember deceased loved ones. Families create colorful altars with photos, candles, marigolds, and favorite foods to welcome the spirits back for a brief reunion. It’s a joyful celebration of life and death

The public is invited to create an altar in remembrance of someone they’ve lost. To participate, please submit an application by October 24. A community altar will be at the center of the event, and participants are invited to bring a photo or object to honor a loved one who has passed away.
